Tita Farrar – Vocal Artist & Sound Healer
Raised in Los Angeles until the age of twelve, Tita Farrar was immersed in music from birth. The daughter of two opera singers—her father, Mario Farrar, with the Santa Monica Opera, and her mother with the Australian Opera—she relocated to Australia following her mother’s international contract.
Tita went on to become a respected session singer, contributing to extensive commercial and voice-over work while performing with well-known bands throughout Australia. Her career spans jazz, funk, and soul, cultivating an exceptional vocal range, stylistic versatility, and expressive depth.
Dedicated to empowering voices worldwide, Tita has spent many years as a private vocal coach in Australia and New Zealand. Her teaching experience also includes work with Musicians Institute and School of Rock in the United States, supporting singers and artists at all stages of development.
Alongside her lifelong love of jazz performance, Tita is now deeply devoted to the healing art of voice. Through her extraordinary improvisational ability, she creates immersive, tranquil vocal soundscapes—frequency-based sanctuaries designed to soothe and regulate the nervous system. Her sound healing work serves elders, children with diagnoses, and communities who have experienced trauma.
Having healed her own experiences with anxiety and near-death events, Tita embodies a grounded presence of peace and compassion. Her voice offers a space of safety, restoration, and connection—supporting individual and collective healing during this time of profound global transition.
